你们好! 我是孩子们的英语老师孟老师，很荣幸能通过本次家长会与您一起交流我们的英语教学，看着在坐的家长朋友，绝大部分家长，我们还是第一次正式碰面，在此，真诚地向家长朋友们说声谢谢，感谢您对我们这一门学科的支持与配合，借次机会我想和家长朋友们交流以下几方面的内容。
一、班级整体情况
在优秀班主任刘老师的带领下，我们班比较优秀(进步较大)，在这次期中考试中我们取得了比较好的成绩的成绩，本次考试共有50人参加，总分3696.5、平均分73.93、及格率76%、90分以上有11人，80-90分以上12人、70-7911人，60-69分4人，12人不及格。优秀率率28%其中高分是田帅99分。 但也有小部分学生明显落后与别人，主要表现在上课注意力不集中，不喜欢张口读书，动作偏慢，家庭作业没有按时上交或干脆不交等现象，久而久之，他的各种表现就落后了，不管是考试成绩，口语交流，还是书写。就不如其他学生。
二、英语学科的特点
本学期我们用的是陕旅版英语教材的三年级起点，在学生听、说、读、写的基础上，强调语言的运用，注重能力的培养，培养学生自主学习的能力和独立运用所学语言去做事的能力。但教学内容紧密联系小学生的生活和学习实际，选择话题充分考虑到小学生的需求，涉及学校、家庭、饮食、玩具、动物、颜色、数字等。因此，英语学科的学习本身趣味性比较强，成绩好的同学会越学越有趣，小部分同学基础没打好，兴趣也就减弱了，毕竟学习的过程是从易到难的。低段简单的没学会，到高段难的知识点学起来就感觉累了。英语课程每个单元的课型也比较清晰的，每单元有partA B C 三部分内容，每部分有三中课型;单词教学，对话教学和阅读教学;还有C部分，也就是故事教学是选学内容，我们一般不作课堂授课，作为有兴趣的同学自己自学内容。
三、 如何在家监督孩子的英语学习
1.关注家庭作业
每周有四节英语课，这四天里我都会布置家庭作业，并且我对家庭作业有具体的要求：若当天是新授单词课，那晚上的作业肯定是默写单词;若是对话课，那晚上的作业肯定是默写重点句，对预习作业的要求是：听录音，若预习单词，要在家校联系本上抄写单词，我没有规定抄写几遍，目的是培养学生主动学习的习惯，而不是每天机械地完成老师布置的作业。若对话课或阅读课，要求翻译汉语的意思，。第二天由四人小组长检查，发现很多孩子是来学校补的。所以，从今天以后，家长可以根据这几个要求去关自己孩子完成作业的情况，当然这之前也有做得很好的家长，不但关注孩子的学习而且可以在微信群里询问作业或者当面咨询老师。
2.关注单元测试 看孩子的试卷，不光看分数的高低，更要关注孩子错误的原因，是因为粗心，还是因为本身就不会。一次考试，不仅仅只是分数上的收获，更是一种学习方法上的收获。也是鼓励和鞭策孩子，让孩子有学习的成就感，每次测试后我都以不同的方式给予学生奖励，有，优秀奖，进步奖，鼓励奖。当然我们奖励的奖品是从成绩不好的学生奶得到的，我这样做并不是为了其他的什么，知识想通过这个小小的奖励或者惩罚让好的更好，让不好的变好，希望家长能理解和支持。
四、 几点希望
1.家长要转变观念，要把语文，数学，英语放在同等位置。经常可以听到家长的议论，小学英语没关系，初中会重学的，其实这是一种错误的观念。初中七年级是有三个模块式复习内容的，但后面的内容跨度还是很大的。所以养成良好的学习习惯要从小学开始，孩子的学习必须家校合作，因为时代在进步，再也不要和你那时自己的学习比较。希望家长再家多费点心，多关注自己孩子的英语学习情况。
2.多关注孩子的学习动态，别过早的放弃孩子对英语的学习，要意识到小学的知识相对来说是比较简单的，更多的是要让孩子有学英语的动力，多鼓励，不要一味的责骂，多和孩子交流，沟通。
3.让我们常联系，我也是第一次担任任六年级的英语课，平时你的孩子出现什么问题我可以多给一些关注(在学校)但是在家的时候希望有什么问题希望你们能及时跟我联系(我的电话号码是微信 479543816)我会尽我所能帮助您的孩子。最后让我们共同努力，让孩子在英语学科上取得好成绩，养成好习惯，为今后的学习打下扎实的基础。

今天，我们荣幸地在这里，作为你们孩子的英语老师，和你们共同探讨一下六年级孩子的英语学习。
英语的重要性在我们当前的生活中越来越突出，越来越受到整个社会的重视。在小升初毕业统考中，英语也是必考的科目。但对于我们现在的孩子，学习英语还存在一些难题，首先英语不是我们的母语，没有现成的语言环境，不能在日常生活中反复运用，所以这就需要我们在学习英语的时候多付出一些，给自己创造机会多练习，多说。其次，就是要语数英三门功课均衡发展，要合理安排时间，同时兼顾三门课的学习，不要因为一门课的缺憾，影响升学和进重点班。
今天就借此机会希望家长能了解我们的工作安排，有效帮助和指导孩子在家开展学习，是孩子能在今年的学习中取得最佳的成绩，为今后的英语学习打下良好的基础。我从以下几方面来说。
一、 英语教学工作。
在教学中，我们追求的是让孩子们快乐地上英语课。玩是孩子的天性，我们经常采用形式多样的教学方法来激发孩子的兴趣，营造轻松、愉快的课堂气氛。同时，我们还不断创设各种情景，是课堂学习活动化、交际化、生活化。孩子们在课堂上全神贯注、兴趣盎然，在不知不觉中既学到了知识，又得到了学习的快乐。
二、 如何让孩子喜欢学英语、主动学英语
1、首先让孩子明确英语学习的重要性，帮助他们树立信心。英语只是一种语言，不难，也不高深，只要学习方法对路，只要肯花功夫，是一定能够学好的，并且短期内就能收到效果。如我们班的郭晓雯、祁艳萍、陈金凤等同学在自己和家长的努力下，学习成绩突飞猛进。
2、帮助孩子建立和形成良好的英语学习习惯。课堂习惯为：能集中注意力听讲，能积极大胆发言，能及时做好必要的笔记。课外习惯为;能坚持每天听英语、读英语，认真完成作业，主动预习新课，对对所学知识进行及时的复习和巩固。
3、要关注孩子的学习过程，不要只注重结果。就是说不要等成绩出来了再说如何如何。而应该时刻关注孩子每一天的成长。比如说：每天你是否能听到孩子脱口而出简单的英语句子，你是否听到孩子大声的说或者读英语。
4、要激发孩子的学习兴趣。比如说耐心的听孩子读英语，背英语，有条件的可以和孩子英语对话，听孩子唱英语歌并且大加赞赏。
5、课外阅读。很多家长一开校就给孩子买英汉对照的书，对学习不利，建议不买，而是买一些英语阅读方面的书或者是练习题、测试卷，扩大知识面和对多种题型的认识。
三、教学计划及要求
1)英语教学计划，本学期英语共6个单元和2个复习单元。每个单元分A\B\C三部分，共六课时，学校安排英语每周是三节课，一个单元通常用两周的时间学完。我通常利用两个早自习听写、背诵、复习所学知识。利用一个午自习讲解配套练习和活动手册。给孩子们定了试卷，作为每个单元结束后的自我测试，所以家长们要监督孩子将布置的卷子认真做完，我会抽时间讲解。现在已经结束了第四单元，下一周开始第五单元。家长们可以根据我们的教学进度安排孩子在课外的复习和巩固。
2)英语作业要求：
1、坚持每天在家读半小时英语，无论今天是否有英语课，都要坚持读，我们班已经有很多同学坚持做到了，如曹宁、马晓慧、张宏玉等。千万别小看每天这短短的30分钟，只要这一点能做到，一个月你就能看到成绩的。
2、每天都有具体的家庭作业，或写或背，希望家长能及时查阅并督促孩子完成。
3、家长能经常询问孩子所学知识，翻阅孩子的书本及练习册，及时了解孩子掌握情况，做到查漏补缺。
4)英语课本知识要求
1、背写let,s learn 的单词，let talk read and write 中的黑体句子。
2、背诵let,s talk read and write ,熟读story和其他部分，请家长根据孩子的具体情况增加背诵内容，培养语感、积累知识、多多益善。
